NATURAL V MECHANICAL

Good ventilation throughout a building improves the quality of air we breathe. It removes the stale air that builds up through a wide range of causes such as excessive CO2, smoke, bad smells, animal odour etc and replaces it with clean fresh air which creates a much nicer environment for us to live and work in. Research shows that in a working environment, occupants are much more productive if the air is fresh and clean; this also applies to schools, where children feel much happier if they can have a window open and allow fresh air in, this in turn results in a better education for them. However, what type should be incorporated, natural or mechanical ventilation?
